Durham police seeking public's help with three robberies

Durham police are asking for the public's help in regards to three robberies that happened to Hispanic victims within the past couple of weeks.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are asking for the public's help in regards to three robberies that happened to Hispanic victims within the past couple of weeks.

Investigators are asking for information about the following robberies:

-- April 19 at 11 p.m. in the 200 block of Junction Road. Two victims – a male and a female – were in a vehicle in a driveway when two males, one armed with a gun and one armed with a knife, robbed them. The victims were robbed of money and jewelry. The suspects appeared to be in their teens.

-- April 24 at 10:26 p.m. in the 200 block of South Alston Avenue. The victim was using his phone in his car when three males approached him. The suspects pointed a gun at the victim and robbed him of cash, a wallet, a phone and jewelry.

-- April 28 at 8:35 p.m. in the 4000 block of Meriwether Drive. The victim was standing outside his vehicle when two teens wearing black shirts over their faces robbed him at gunpoint. The suspects took the victim’s cash, wallet and keys.
