DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police asked for the public's help in identify a man they believe broke into a vehicle and stole several items in October.

A woman told officers that she parked her car at an ABC store, 1930 Holloway St., around 6 p.m. Oct. 19, 2008. When she returned to her car, she discovered that her purse and credit cards were missing. Someone then used the credit cards several times, police said.

Anyone able to identify this male was asked to call Investigator A.M. Cristaldi at 919-560-4450, ext. 255 or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases, and callers never have to identify themselves.
