Durham police seek shoplifting suspect

Police said the woman entered the CVS, at 5311 North Roxboro Road, around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. A few minutes later she left the store and set off the alarms.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are searching for a woman suspected of shoplifting and pulling a knife on a store employee.

Police said the woman entered the CVS, at 5311 North Roxboro Road, around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. A few minutes later she left the store and set off the alarms.

When an employee approached her in the parking lot, the woman pulled out a knife, according to the police report. She left in a tan Buick Riviera.

The woman is described as black and in her 20s. She is 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-4 and about 110 pounds. She had short hair and was wearing a short-sleeved blouse, blue jeans and sneakers.
