Durham girls missing from middle school found safe

Authorities said 11-year-old Honesty Scott and 12-year-old Angel Lyymore were last seen leaving Brogden Middle School on Leon Street at about 3:30 p.m.

DURHAM, N.C.Update: Authorities said both girls were found safe Tuesday night.

Durham police are seeking public assistance in locating two girls who were last seen leaving their middle school Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities said 11-year-old Honesty Scott and 12-year-old Angel Lyymore were last seen leaving Brogden Middle School on Leon Street at about 3:30 p.m.

Scott is described as a tall black girl weighing about 130 pounds. She has braids and was wearing her hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink shirt.

Lymore is described as a black girl who is 4 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 60 pounds. She was last seen wearing gray or black pants and a pink shirt.

Anybody with information about the girls’ whereabouts is asked to call Durham police at 919-560-4427 or dial 911.
