DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are investigating after a home that was vandalized and spray painted with the letters "KKK" in early July was hit again and vandalized.

Investigators said the first incident happened sometime between 10:30 p.m. on July 12 and 8:30 a.m. on July 13. Officers found racial epithets spray painted on the garage. More racial slurs were found inside the home. Police said vandals also broke mirrors and caused other damage inside the home.

Officers were called Wednesday to the same location. They found racial slurs and other damage throughout the inside of the home. They believe the home was hit between 6 p.m. on July 21 and 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Investigator Krieger at 919-560-4582 ext. 29245.
