The Durham Police Department asked on Wednesday for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a murder.

DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham Police Department asked on Wednesday for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in the death of William Davis.

Davis was found dead near the intersection of West Piedmont Avenue and Scout Drive on April 12.

Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call Sgt. Jack Cates at 560-4440, ext. 262, Investigator D. C. West at 560-4440, ext. 259 or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.
