Durham police are investigating two unrelated shootings that happened within hours of each other on Sunday.

Durham police are investigating two unrelated shootings that happened within hours of each other on Sunday.

The first shooting happened in the 900 block of Juniper Street around 5 p.m.

Police said a man was shot in the leg several times. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The second shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Fargo Street.

A man was inside a house when several shots were fired from the outside. He was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Both shootings remain under investigation.
