Durham police are investigating a shooting on Southerland Street on Sunday.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Durham police are investigating a shooting on <span class="nanospell-typo">Southerland</span> Street on Sunday.

Police say a woman, who was not the target, was shot in the thigh. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was expected to survive.

There was no word on any possible suspects or what led to the shooting.
