Teenage boy among 2 killed in Durham

The Durham Police Department said it is investigating a shooting at Holloway Street and North Joyland Ave that has left two people dead.

DURHAM, N.C. — A teenage boy and a young man were killed in a double homicide in Durham on Saturday night.

Police found two people shot to death inside a car at Holloway Street and North Joyland Avenue before 9 p.m. One gunshot victim was a 17-year-old boy and the other was William Damontez Green, 27, from Durham.

Investigators said they do not believe this shooting was random.
