DURHAM, N.C. — Two vehicles were struck by bullets Thursday not far from where a child was shot and killed last week in Durham.

WRAL's Sarah Krueger reports Durham police said a black Tahoe heading south on North Roxboro Road shot out the windows of two vehicles. There were no injuries.

The driver of one of the vehicles told WRAL's Rosalia Fodera he heard multiple gunshots and was still shaken up. Fodera reports Thursday's incident is 1.4 miles from where a 9-year-old was shot and killed Sunday. It was also not far from Interstate 85.

Police finished their investigation, the scene was cleared and traffic was flowing as usual again.
