Durham police investigating after two people shot
Durham police are investigating after they found two people with gunshot wounds on Thursday.
Posted — UpdatedOfficers were in the area of the 3600 block of Wiggins Street when they heard shots fired at approximately 9 p.m. Officers said they located a man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Duke University Hospital with unknown injuries.
Police also responded to the hospital after learning of another man who arrived there with a gunshot wound. The man said he was also in the area of Wiggins Street when he was shot. He had non-life threatening injuries.
Both incidents are currently under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (919) 683-1200.
