Durham police were investigating after they said a man was killed in a shooting on Thursday.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police were investigating after they said a man was killed in a shooting on Thursday.

Officers responded to a shooting call in the 200 block of Gray Avenue, near Cleveland Avenue, shortly before 5 p.m. They found a man who had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

Investigators remained on the scene collecting evidence Thursday evening. Sky 5 saw multiple evidence markers on the street, indicating the possibility of several shots fired. No further information was released.
