Durham police investigating after man shot, killed
Durham police are investigating a homicide that happened Friday night on Fayetteville Street near Old Fayetteville Street.
Posted — UpdatedOfficers were dispatched to a shooting call in the 1000 block of Fayetteville Street at 8:20 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man dead in a parking lot.
On Monday, the man was identified as Wendell Linton Zeigler, 43, of Durham.
No charges have been filed. WRAL's Rosalia Fodera said it's at least the second homicide at this location recently.
No further details are available at this time.
