Durham police investigating 4-year-old girl's death
A 4-year-old girl died late Thursday at an apartment in the 700 block of Falls Pointe Drive, Durham police said.
Posted — UpdatedOfficers responding to the apartment at about 8:45 p.m. found Armani Hodges unresponsive.
Medical personnel attempted to resuscitate Armani, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
L'Cristi Sellers, Armani's aunt, said she was a "bubbly little girl."
"She fell and hit her head. I really don't know no heads or tails of it. I want to know what's going on. That's my 4-year-old niece, and she's gone and I just don't know," she said.
Sharon Warren, Armani's grandmother, said the family is waiting for a medical examiner's report.
"I just want answers. Answers to everything, answers to what happened," Warren said.
The incident is still under investigation. No charges have been filed.
