DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are searching for a suspect after three businesses were broken into overnight.

The back-to-back break-ins happened early Wednesday on Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard at Konrad Automotive, Midas and Honey Baked Ham Co.

Karl Konrad, owner of Konrad Automotive, said blood was on the fragmented glass of his business’s broken door.

“It’s a lot of money to replace anything in there,” he said.

The suspect was caught on surveillance camera, Konrad said.

The three business’s owners and workers said the suspect didn’t get anything, though.
