Durham Police Investigate Shooting

— Durham police were investigating a Saturday night shooting.

A 37-year-old Hispanic man was shot in the abdomen during an argument with two men, police said. It happened after just after 9 p.m. behind an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Sedgefield Street.

The victim was transported to Duke University Hospital. He underwent surgery and was expected to survive, authorities said.

Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call CrimeStoppers at 683-1200.
