Durham police have identified a man killed in a drive-by shooting.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Durham police have identified a man killed in a drive-by shooting.

A man standing on the porch at 1003 Gillette Ave. shortly before 7:30 p.m. Monday was struck by a bullet fired by a passing gray or dark silver colored vehicle, police said.

The victim was identified Wednesday as Robbie Douglas White, 44, of South Roxboro Street.<br />

Police said they do not believe White was the intended target. 

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Sgt. Jack Cates, of the Durham Police Department, at 919-560-4440, extension 262, or CrimeStoppers at 919-683-1200.
