Durham police: Driver hits patrol car, flees

Durham, N.C. — Durham police are looking for a man who drove into a police officer's patrol car and fled the scene Thursday night.

The incident happened at 2201 Morehead Ave. The man led police on a short chase after driving into the patrol car, which resulted in minor damage to the officer's car, police said. 

The man later ditched his vehicle and ran away.
