Durham Police Chase 4 Men With Rifles
Durham police pursued four armed suspects on foot after receiving reports of shots fired Saturday afternoon.
Posted — UpdatedCalls about gunshots in the Lynn Road area came in around 12:45 p.m. Officers sighted four black males carrying rifles and gave chase on foot. The pursuit went into the Holloway Street area.
Officers used a K-9 to track the men for about 45 minutes, but did not find the suspects. They believe the men might be hiding in a house.
Police recovered the four rifles the men had been carrying.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and the scene was cleared by 2 p.m.
A description of the suspects was not available Saturday afternoon.
