Durham police: Cash stolen during armed robbery at Wendy's drive-thru
Police are trying to find two men who pulled up to a Wendy's drive-thru and demanded money Sunday night.
Posted — UpdatedAccording to the Durham Police Department, officers responded to the restaurant in the 4800 block of N.C. Highway 55 around 8 p.m.
Police said a black SUV with two people inside pulled up to the drive-thru window, and a man approached the window while holding a gun. The men stole money from the cash register and fled the scene, police said.
The men were wearing black ski masks. Their SUV was last seen traveling northbound on N.C. 55.
