Durham man shot while sitting in his living room
Shots were fired into a Durham home overnight, hitting a man inside.

DURHAM, N.C. — Shots were fired into a Durham home overnight, hitting a man inside.
The Durham Police Department responded to the home in the 1400 block of South Street around midnight Thursday.
The victim told police he was sitting in his living room with friends when he heard several gunshots and then felt pain in his lower back.
Officers were working to figure out where the shots came from and if the home was targeted.
The man is expected to be okay.
