Durham police were on the scene investigating after they said a man was shot and is suffering life-threatening injuries.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Durham police were on the scene investigating after they said a man was shot and was suffering life-threatening injuries.

The shooting happened on Friday around 5:45 p.m. Officials were called to 143 Commerce St. and found an adult male who had been shot. They believe the shooting happened outside.

The man, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The investigation was ongoing.
