Durham man charged with DWI, possessing cocaine after crash

Durham, N.C. — Police charged a Durham man with DWI and possession of cocaine after he crashed a car Wednesday night.
Alvis Rosser, 29, of 5224 Penrith Apt. K, was driving a 1979 Chevrolet Caprice classic north on Fayetteville Street near Brant street when he drove off the road to the right and struck a utility pole, police said.
He was taken to Duke emergency room with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
