DURHAM, N.C. — The Museum of Life and Science will host a Duke Children's Teddy Bear Hospital from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday.

During the event, kids are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal to explore activities designed to highlight the body, physical fitness and healthy habits, according to a press release. The program at the Durham museum will include special appearances by Durham Bulls mascot, Wool E. Bull, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Duke Life Flight ambulance, and players from the Duke women’s lacrosse and tennis teams.

Kids will have the chance to interact with and have their stuffed animal examined by Duke pediatric doctors across several disciplines, the release says. Prizes will be raffled off every 30 minutes.

Duke Children’s will have a small number of teddy bears for kids who don't have one, but those supplies are limited. It's best if you bring your own.

The activities are included with admission, which is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and U.S. military, and $15 for kids ages 3 to 12. It's free for kids ages 2 and under. The museum's website has more information.
