Durham fire displaces residents

Three children and two adults were displaced after a fire broke out at 3601 Turquois Drive in Durham early Friday.

DURHAM, N.C. — Three children and two adults were displaced after a fire broke out at 3601 Turquois Drive in Durham early Friday.

No one was killed in the blaze, Durham Fire Department officials said. One person was burned on the arm, but refused to be transported for treatment.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
