Durham deputies still looking for info in drive-by shooting that injured 72-year-old

The Durham County Sheriff's Office on Friday asked for the public's help to learn more about a drive-by shooting that sent a 72-year-old woman to the hospital.

DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham County Sheriff's Office on Friday asked for the public's help to learn more about a drive-by shooting that sent a 72-year-old woman to the hospital.

The woman, whose name has not been released, remains in the hospital after being hurt in the late-evening hours on Dec. 12.

Authorities say someone fired shots into a home at 3017 Forrester St. at about 10 p.m., hitting the elderly woman. Two other people were inside at the time, but they were not hurt.
