— Durham County sheriff's investigators were looking into a situation they said happened Wednesday where Hispanic workers said they had a gun pointed at them by a man.

Deputies responded Wednesday afternoon after receiving a call that a man, approximately 6 feet tall with light hair was armed with a rifle. He was wearing a black shirt with a white emblem and cargo-style pants. He eventually left in a small gray sedan.

Deputies returned to the location of the incident on Thursday when a similar vehicle arrived, said Durham County Sheriff Public Information Officer Annmarie Breen in an email.

The investigation continues and officials said if anyone has information on this, they should contact the Criminal Investigations Division at (919) 560-0880. The Durham County Sheriff’s Office reminds everyone “If you see something, say something” by calling 911 immediately.
