Durham cop runs cruiser into pole
A Durham police officer ran into a telephone pole in his cruiser Wednesday afternoon, a department spokeswoman said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham police officer ran into a telephone pole in his cruiser Wednesday afternoon, a department spokeswoman said.
The officer was unhurt and the damage to the pole, at 2101 Holloway St., was minor, Kammie Michael of the Durham Police Department said. She did not release the officer's name.
