DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham Bulls were supposed to be in the middle of their regular season, but the ballparks are empty due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The lack of games haven't stopped the team from doing some good for the local community. The group along with US Foods has partnered with Pie Pushers and LocoPops to create a platform for people to donate meals to Duke Health employees.

People can go online or place orders by phone to donate pizzas and/or ice pops for healthcare workers.

Customers can add an 8-inch individual pizza to be sent to healthcare workers for $10, or donate toward individual pies in increments of $5, by calling Pie Pushers at 919-294-8408.

Customers can order ice pops ($2.69 per pop) for healthcare workers by contacting LocoPops via its website.
Pie Pushers is still open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at its Main Street location in downtown Durham. Pizza is available for pick-up, curbside and delivery.
LocoPops Dessert Café is currently open from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. for pickup and to-go orders at their location on Hillsborough Road in Durham. In addition to pops, you can also order pints of ice cream, puzzles and coloring books.
