Dump truck wrecks at Lake Pine and U.S. 64 in Apex

Apex, N.C. — Police, fire and rescue crews responded to a wreck Tuesday afternoon at U.S. Highway 64 and Lake Pine Drive in Apex.
A dump truck and van collided just after 4 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Paramedics transported three people to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries. The names and conditions of the victims have not being released.
Traffic was slow moving for a short time after the wreck.
