Duke student found dead
A Duke University student was found dead on Wednesday, according to the university’s Web site.
Posted — UpdatedAlthough foul play is not suspected, the case remains under investigation, school officials said.
The student was identified as senior Billy Dwight, 23, of Kernersville.
“The details regarding cause of death are still under investigation but what we do know is that his death was not in Durham County and foul play is not presumed. We are in the process of identifying and supporting anyone who knew Billy and I encourage any of you who have not been contacted, but knew Billy, to be in touch with us,” Vice President for Student Affairs Larry Moneta said in an e-mail to students Wednesday night.
