Duke Medicine: Wednesday is National Doctor's Day
Maybe it's the doctor who delivered your baby ... or found a new therapy ... or knew just what to do. Wednesday is the day to thank them for all they do.

I have a note that I've been meaning to send for the past 18 months.
I know it's been 18 months because that's how old my younger daughter is. And the note I need to write is to my obstetrician. My pregnancy wasn't completely uncomplicated. And I want to thank him for all he did to bring this amazing little girl into our lives.
I'm going to do it this week. And if I need any other reason other than I've waited far too long, Wednesday also is National Doctors' Day.
