National Drug Take Back

Every day, nearly four North Carolinians die from a drug overdose.

One gateway to addiction and death is the prescription medication many of us have in our medicine cabinets. These drugs can be a magnet for young people who want to experiment or for people struggling with addiction.

We need to get these drugs out of our houses – but not by flushing them down the toilet. That’s harmful to our water supply.

Saturday, Oct. 26, is National Drug Take Back Day. There are be multiple drop off locations across North Carolina where you can drop off unused prescriptions.
