<b>WAKE FOREST, N.C.</b> — A driver was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries Tuesday morning after a crash at Zebulon Road and Louisburg Road.

The crash occurred in the Wake Forest intersection before 7:30 a.m. Officials say a car collided with a semi-trailer. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital, while two people in the semi-trailer are expected to be okay.

The driver had to be cut out of the car and rescued, officials said.

At 8 a.m., crews were at the scene investigating, but everything had been moved out of the roadway.
