Driver leaves road, hits pine tree in Johnston County
A driver was seriously injured on Wednesday night after crashing into a large pine tree at the intersection of Webb Mill and Thompson Roads, near Four Oaks in Johnston County.

FOUR OAKS, N.C. — A driver was seriously injured on Wednesday night after crashing into a large pine tree at the intersection of Webb Mill and Thompson Roads, near Four Oaks in Johnston County.
The State Highway Patrol is investigating why the driver drove off the road and through yards at all four corners of the intersection
Troopers said the driver was alone at the time of the crash and was taken to WakeMed for treatment.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
