Investigators said a car veered off Ten Ten Road, hit a tree and caught fire Tuesday morning.



<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Investigators said a car veered off Ten Ten Road, hit a tree and caught fire Tuesday morning. The driver died.

The crash occurred after 1 a.m. close to Old Stage Road and Vance Elementary School. The tree was charred from the crash.

The N.C. State Highway Patrol is working to determine what caused the driver to lose control but say speed may have been a factor.
