Driver injured, charged in three-car wreck near Garner
A 22-year-old man was charged with driving while impaired and reckless driving in a three-car wreck on Interstate 40 near Garner, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Posted — UpdatedTroopers said Meisen Li was weaving in and out of the westbound lanes near U.S. Highway 70 around 12:15 a.m. when he ran off the road to the right, struck a guard rail, over-corrected and then spun around.
A Sheetz van crashed into the front of Li's 2007 Sports Audi and then a Toyota Camry hit both vehicles.
Only Li was injured. He was taken to WakeMed, where he was listed in stable condition Wednesday morning.
No other information was released.
