<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Part of South Saunders Street was blocked early Thursday after an overnight wreck.

Police said a driver hit a utility pole and ran from the scene. Officers quickly arrested the man. Authorities said he sustained non life-threatening injuries. His name was not released.

The lanes of South Saunders Street northbound between Pecan Road and Interstate 40 were closed for more than an hour.
