Driver crashes into Johnston County home, flees and then hits SUV

A driver is facing charges after crashing into a house, fleeing the scene and colliding into a SUV.

PRINCETON, N.C. — A driver is facing charges after crashing into a house, fleeing the scene and colliding into a SUV.

Authorities said the the driver lost control of his car on Old Rock Quarry Road in Princeton, hit a power pole and then then crashed into a house.

No one in the home was injured.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol troopers said the driver then left the scene, ran a stop sign and collided into a SUV. Troopers said the people inside the SUV were injured, but did not say the extent of their injuries.

The driver was charged with driving while intoxicated.
