RALEIGH, N.C. — You've heard of yoga with dogs. Now a canine-friendly pub with plans to open in Raleigh next year wants you to party with them too.
Doggos Dog Park and Pub, which already has a Greensboro location, is planning to open a new Raleigh pub in the spring.

The location is yet to be determined, but the 10,000 square foot park will be located somewhere along the Beltline, officials said.

Memberships are already available for dog lovers who want to help make the plan a reality, including the Founding Dog Membership, which includes a lifetime membership to Doggos, a T-shirt and the opportunity to incorporate your dog’s name into the design of the location for everyone to see.

The founder and owner of Doggos started the business after her dog died.

"I kept wishing there was a place I could go hang out to just be with some dogs until I was ready to adopt again," she wrote on the Doggos website. "Feeling this way made me wonder if maybe other people felt this way, too."

That's when the idea for a hangout for dogs and their humans was formed.

The indoor and outdoor space features a full bar for adults and a playspace for dogs, which includes a ball pit for small dogs, obstacle courses and kiddie pools. There are a few rules for humans who bring their pets, such as a two-dogs-per-adult ratio and proof of rabies, distemper and Bordetella vaccines.

Obviously, dogs must be well-behaved to play at the dog park, which offers night and day play, family hours and adults-only events.

Upcoming events at the Greensboro location include trivia, yoga, pit bull and "poodle and doodle" takeover nights, a puppy prom for humans 21 and older and an SPCA fundraising event.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served, including fun cocktails made with ingredients like apple cider, lemonade, coffee and more.

For more information about Doggos, including memberships, visit their website.

Annual memberships will be available at $275 for a single dog and $125 for each additional dog, with monthly memberships starting at $35. Day passes start at $10 per dog with a two dog per person limit.
