RALEIGH, N.C.Dreamville Festival, the popular music festival from rapper J. Cole, has been postponed, organizers announced Friday.
Dreamville Fest was set toreturn to Raleigh's Dix Park on April 4. It has been moved to Aug. 29 at the same venue.

All tickets for the April date will be honored for the rescheduled date. Current ticket-buyers unable to attend the rescheduled date will be offered a refund.

The first Dreamville Festival was held in April, 2019 after being postponed from its original September 2018 date due to Hurricane Florence.

It was the first major concert event at Dix Park and went off with few issues. While heavy traffic and long lines were to be expected, the event didn't have nearly enough food vendors to handle the sell-out 40,000 person crowd, which resulted in unreasonably long lines for meals.

Headliners for this year's festival had not yet been announced. The 2019 bill included Cole, Nelly, Rapsody, SZA, Big Sean and 21 Savage.

The Dreamville Festival benefits the Dreamville Foundation and Dix Park Conservancy.

J. Cole was born in Germany but was raised in Fayetteville.
