ABOUT HALF OF THE TOTAL FIXTURES CAME BACK WITH SOME LEVEL OF LEAD. >> INCLUDING 20 SINKS AND FOR DRINKING FOUNTAINS, STUDENTS LIKE CARISSA TEACH WERE SHOCKED BY THOSE RESULTS. <p>I'm meteorologist, Amy Wilmoth, here in the WRL severe Weather Center, we've had some heavy rain roll through the area today. That's going to be moving out overnight tonight. But then we'll have another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms for Wednesday. That will be mainly in the afternoon and evening. It's certainly been an unsettled day. We went with a 100% chance for rain today and we have certainly seen that materialize, but things will settle down overnight tonight and we should get a little bit of a break. It should be mainly cloudy for the morning commute on Wednesday. It's likely going to be dry just as shower possible, but shouldn't be a big deal. And then heading into the afternoon, we'll have some scattered storms. We do have a level one risk for the entire area tomorrow in the evening, storms will be possible and some of those could be severe. The biggest threats with any storms that do form tomorrow would be some damaging wind gusts and some heavy rain and the potential for some localized flooding. A look at the rain chances for Wednesday. It's only a slim chance for rain the first half of the day, only about a 20% chance for rain after lunchtime is when we start to see those numbers go up. It's about a 50 to 60% chance late in the afternoon, early in the evening and then a 70% chance for showers and storms at six and seven o'clock tomorrow evening. So we can take a look at this with futurecast, the heavy rain moving out overnight tonight and it should be fairly quiet late tonight and overnight tonight as well. And then Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. it's cloudy. We might have a stray shower or a few sprinkles and that would be about it. And then when we get to lunchtime, we'll start to notice the activity developing, especially in our southern counties. And as we get into the afternoon and evening, we'll have scattered showers and thunderstorms moving through and any storms that do could become severe. And again, the biggest threat would be some damaging winds. So unsettled weather again, Wednesday, especially the second half of the day. And then we have a couple of quiet days. Only a 20% chance for rain Thursday and Friday with highs in the low eighties. Friday night storm chances go back up to a 50% chance. We'll have some scattered storms Saturday and a few isolated storms possible. On Sunday, we're back to some drier weather on Monday and Tuesday.</p>
