RALEIGH, N.C. — A popular downtown Raleigh restaurant is looking for a new location.
Buku opened inside the Red Hat Tower at the corner of Wilmington and Davie streets in downtown Raleigh in 2010. Its lease was set to expire at the end of this month, but that got extended to Jan. 7, 2019, to give the restaurant time to find a new home, Buku's owners explained via social media over the weekend.
Buku is known for its global street food cuisine.
Buku's Wake Forest location at 1228 Heritage Links Drive opened over the weekend. The same owners are also behind Soca in Cameron Village.
