Raleigh med spa offers custom care in historic home
Previously owned by the fashion designer, Willie Otey Kay, Physios has continued the legacy of creativity and entrepreneurship inside the walls of the historic Raleigh home.

They offer a wide variety of services including facials, hair styling, laser hair removal, waxing, light skin therapy, sunless tanning, pilates, nutrition coaching and massages.
"We’re here to make you look good and feel good," Karchner said.
"The look on your face and that satisfaction - that means everything to us. We want you to be happy and if you’re not stupefied and dumbfounded at how happy you are, we need to know about it because we aren’t doing our job."
Physios also believes in the beauty of customization. Each client receives tailored treatment and recommendations that fit their needs, budgets and lifestyle.
Physios offers seasonal facials, with the current special being a one-hour facial featuring the benefits of pearl, pumpkin and papaya for $99. The service also includes a soothing lymphatic massage. Their winter facial will be available mid-November.
The med spa recently launched a new “Wine & Wellness” event series, where they host professionals who provide beauty and wellness advice while guests enjoy wine, light refreshments and giveaways. Physios carries several beauty products and pharmaceutical skincare, including SkinCeuticals, Yon-Ka and NeoCutis. Clients can also purchase customized makeup mixed on the spot by the Physios team.
Physios also has a mobile app where you can view service pricing, book an appointment, access promotions/coupons and manage your loyalty card. For every 10 points collected, you’ll receive 20 percent off your next service.
