RALEIGH, N.C.Voda Boutique is moving to a new location in North Hills this spring, Kane Realty announced Tuesday.

North Carolina State University graduate Kayla Brewer Cheek opened Voda in 2017 in a downtown Raleigh apartment building at 725 Tucker Street. In the coming months, Voda will relocate to its new North Hills space between The Spectacle and Von Kekel Aveda Salon. An official move date was not announced.

The bulk of Voda's clothing assortment is in the $50 to $150 price range, and Cheek said it's her goal to sell products for diverse styles and budgets.

"The Voda girl is a lot of girls," Cheek told WRAL News in 2017. "We have a little bit of boho and sophistication and also a lot of trendy and edgy styles. I want to provide products for everyone."

A North Carolina native, Cheek grew up in the tiny town of Star. She helped launch a Belk brand and managed a trendy clothing boutique in Charlotte before moving to Raleigh in 2016 to open Voda.

“We are excited to welcome Voda Boutique to North Hills,” said John Kane, CEO of Kane Realty Corporation. “They offer both national brands and unique pieces from local artists. We are certain they will be successful in this location.”

Customers can expect to find trend-conscious, quirky clothing in Voda along with shoes and accessories, hanging planters, candles and art. The space is dog friendly, and Cheek's French bulldog, Hank, is often there to greet customers.

Voda highlights local brands along with some of Cheek's favorite national clothiers, such as Amuse Society, Spell and The Gypsy and For Love and Lemons.
