Raleigh, N.C. — Duke Energy outage maps showed at least 2,600 customers without power Sunday afternoon near Rock Quarry Road.
According to Raleigh officials, a tree that fell on power lines caused the outage around 11:30 a.m. Traffic lights were out at multiple intersections.
At 1:30 p.m., power had been restored to all but 230 customers.
Officials did not specify where the tree fell or which intersections were without power. Duke crews estimated that power would be restored to all by 4 p.m.
