<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Fayetteville police say they received $2,000 worth of gift cards from an anonymous donor.

Police said a woman walked into the department Monday with 400 gift cards, enough to give one to each officer, for restaurants such as Bojangles' and Chick-fil-A. Each card is worth $5. 

The woman also left a letter saying, "Thank you for serving in a noble profession."
