When you're having fun with the family, a number one job is making sure no one gets lost! Sound familiar?

Three apps on your device can help make it easier to keep up with everyone at festivals, concerts, malls -- or even on a hike.

With Life 360, you can set up small circles of friends and family. The app will share location information and let you know when somebody has arrived safely.

You can also set up temporary custom circles, which are perfect for an afternoon hike when you want to keep up with your party. Life 360 allows you to chat and send private messages to each other, and it's free for iOS and Android.
Some users might prefer Zenly's interface. Zenly is another real-time location-sharing app that is designed to help you keep up with friends and family and connect in person. It's also free for iOS and Android.

Mama Bear, a family safety app, can also help parents keep track of their children.

Parents and children can message each other on the app, and there's a panic button that your child can use in an emergency. Mama Bear lets you monitor your child's social media activity and even your teenager's driving habits! It's free for iOS and Android with some premium features available for purchase.

Lastly, if you use Google Maps, it also allows you to share your location with others. Just tap the menu and look for the "location sharing" option.
