Domestic dispute leads to Lumberton man arrested, charged

A domestic dispute in Lumberton resulted in a man arrested and facing charges.

LUMBERTON, N.C. — A domestic dispute in Lumberton resulted in a man arrested and facing charges.

Dustin Cross, 21, is charged with discharging a firearm within an enclosure to incite fear, assault with a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly in the presence of a minor. Cross was also served with outstanding warrants for unrelated cases. He was held in the Robeson County Detention Center under bonds totaling $450,000. One is for $150,000 for an unrelated charge.

Robeson County Sheriff's deputies said they responded to the 40 block of Tennessee Drive in Lumberton to a domestic dispute. Investigators said Cross fired a gun inside the residence during the dispute. No details were released if anyone was hurt.
