THAM LUANG CAVE, Thailand — United States officials say four boys have been evacuated from the cave in Thailand.

Twelve members of a youth soccer team and their coach have been trapped deep inside a mountain cave complex for over two weeks.

The boys who emerged from the cave Sunday morning were met by doctors and medical teams to assess their condition.

They were then transported to a hospital in nearby Chiang Rai.

According to a military source, the boys were rushed to the hospital by ambulance. There is no information so far on the condition the boys are in.

A photo from the Thai Royal Navy of a letter that one of the 12 boys trapped in a cave with their soccer coach in Thailand handed to a diver which reads “Don’t worry, we’re all strong.” Crews at the flooded Tham Luang Cave decided on Saturday to hold off on a rescue attempt.
